- Where to study
* Find a quiet place where you are able to concentrate
* Lying down on a bed can turn into an hour long nap
* Find a spot away from distractions such as e-mail, telephone,
video games, or friends.
- How to Study
* Study in chunks (20-50 minutes followed by a 5-10 minutes break
is more effective than many hours of non-stop work
* Use daylight hours (an hour of daytime studying is worth two at
night
* Do the work that requires the most concentration earliest in the
day (for most people it typically will involve reading)
* Rank your classes and be sure to spend time on your most
challenging class everyday-- early in the day
* Study actively, ask yourself questions, review your notes
regularly, discuss key concepts with friends and course teacher
* Manage your time well
